Someone just asked me if the ringtones we produce are compatible with an iPhone used in France with one of the carrier.

Let me be clear about this point.
Our ringtones are usable in any country, regardless of any carrier.
You are granted to buy our ringtones from a country and use it in any other country.

The only technology used is Apple iTunes.
Usually to activate your iPhone, you had to use iTunes.
So no other thing is necessary.

We don't use Apple iTunes Music Store to put DRM on our ringtones.
We trust our users for not sharing our ringtones.

Other internet browsers behaviour was not affected.

By now, only iPhone is supported.

There is a multitude of format (see Wikipedia),
due to the fact that we are composing REAL music, we can not propose some MIDI or polyphonic ringtones.
mp3 or AAC is a good option, but there is not so much mobile phone wich support this format.
AMR of MMF are really poor in terms of quality, but if some people really want it, we may propose it...

Another big issue is how to send your ringtone ? some mobile phone do not have a internet connection, it exclude wap or direct mail from your mobile.
We may mail to your computer the ringtone with the format you expect but then, do you have a USB cable ? Do you know how to send your ringtone to your blutooth mobile phone ?

See ?

The last option is to send your ringtone with SMS or MMS, but we have no idea of how to ! We have tried some free sender but none seems to work efficiently...
So may be we should enroll a specialised company but it costs !

Right now, the easy way is the iPhone...

We remain open to suggestion of course...

This will allow you to quick vote for your prefered ringtone. We need your feedback, please rate !

We have also add a business model to the previous one. This is called « exclusive ».
You may now order your ringtone and choose if you allow us to sell again your ringtone to someone else or not.
Therefore our waver now shows an « add to cart » button for non exclusive ringtone.
« Exclusive » ringtone are not available for sale, composed ringtones before today are exclusive.

Dear all,

I’m seeking your help to set a rating system for our ringtones.

Put simply, I need a Javascript programer.

The idea for the front office is to have one blog post per ringtone entry,
a five stars rater and a mp3 player inlined.
Mp3 player should not be made with Flash until iPhone support it...

Back office would use a text file for each ringtone (no sql) to store rates.

I have already some javascript for both mp3 and star rating but I lack the skill to merge them and link the stuff to a text file.

So please, give us a hand, free ringtone to win
